You know what you’re worth. That’s not the issue.
The issue is you’re still pricing like everyone else.
When you worked at a gym, someone else decided your hourly rate. You showed up, trained clients, got paid. Simple.
But now you’re running a business. And that’s a completely different game.
Here’s the shift most coaches miss:
Employees trade time for money.
Business owners create value and capture a portion of it.
When you charge $80/hour because that’s what “seems reasonable,” you’re thinking like an employee. You’re anchoring to what gyms pay trainers — not what transformation is actually worth to your clients.
Ask yourself: What does it cost someone to NOT solve this problem?
The executive who can’t sleep. The new mom who’s lost her confidence. The guy whose doctor just gave him a warning.
They’re not buying an hour of your time. They’re buying a different life. Price accordingly.
This doesn’t mean charge whatever you want. It means build something worth paying real money for — then charge for that.
Create a structured program. Define the outcome. Set a price that reflects the result, not just the hours.
You’re not an employee anymore. You are a business owner. No one’s coming to give you a raise.
Give yourself the raise. By building something valuable. By owning what you deliver. By presenting the opportunity and guiding your clients to the win they truly want.
